Introducing the Oil Paintings of LDS Artist Karen Sharp Foster
We are excited to announce that just this week we have yet another new addition to our growing list of talented LDS artists! Karen Sharp Foster has joined us, and her paintings of Jesus Christ and other Gospel-related paintings are now available for sale! Karen’s work is sold in Deseret Book and other locations, and we happy that she has joined us as well!
Karen has always loved to draw and paint. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration and Design. While attending BYU, she interned at the LDS children’s magazine The Friend and later worked as art director and editor for the children’s magazine, Happy Times.
She is now an avid oil painter of portraits, landscapes, and LDS art. She recently assisted in painting murals for LDS temples – an incredible honor and surely a fantastic goal of any LDS artist!
Karen loves traveling, participating in humanitarian projects, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, spending time with her family, and reading. She has eight children and currently resides in Farmington, Utah.
