Jesus Christ – Resurrection And The Life – Painting Mockup

Brent’s primary goal while painting “Resurrection and the Life” was to portray a Jesus Christ with whom he could relate to as a real person. His face is based on Brent’s earlier “Light of the World” painting, but he wanted to portray Him against a familiar background, wearing clothes similar to what He may have worn during His time of mortality. Brent wanted the viewer to understand and know that Christ is not just a man from ancient stories – He actually does exist. Christ has truly overcome all things and has risen from the grave. He is real, and through this painting, Brent hopes to share that knowledge with others.
